Our story
Klopfenstein’s has represented top lighting manufacturers in Hawaii since 1976. From our Nuuanu Avenue location since 1987, and known to many as KLI, we re-established as Klopfenstein LLC in 2025 following the loss of our long-time friend and company owner, Rick Fell.
Through the decades, one thing hasn’t changed: we pair design-grade products with hands-on service for the islands’ unique environments.
From our early days serving the growing Hawaiian construction industry to today’s complex sustainable building projects, we’ve evolved our expertise while maintaining our commitment to personal service and technical excellence.

- Provide ongoing post-sales support including warranty assistance, field questions, and technical guidance.
